Be a coach! ....EASY money!

OK. So you've bought P90X. You've started the program. You're getting results from the workouts. Now what.

Make some money while you're doing it, for goodness sake!!

I signed up to be a beachbody coach back in April of 2009. I was just checking my earnings (to see if I was really going to continue on this "coaching" thing), and I've earned $244.16! In 2 months! It may not seem like much, but I haven't done anything! Well...other than working out and telling others about what has worked for me, during this whole P90X thing...easy. OK. Wait. It does cost me $14.95 a month (for BeachBody to maintain my website), so I guess you have to subtract that from my earnings...just to be fair. But still, I haven't done anything. AND, I get 25% off of any products or supplements I order (like the P90X recovery drink???). So. If anyone is interested in looking into the whole "coaching" thing, check it out here. You can also go here or here. "Here" is much easier than spelling out the entire web address! Oh and check out the video from BeachBody here! :O)

Anyway, keep up the workouts everyone! If you're interested in becoming a coach (or just have questions), shoot me an email! And if I'm not signed up as your coach, go here and click on "sign up with this coach"! I'd love to help you reach your fitness goals!

Oh and by the way, just since I began getting this post ready, I've gained 2 more customers! Sooooo, my 'total' earnings just went over $300...for doing absolutely nothing!

I'm still here!!

OK, OK...I get it. You guys miss me. You really miss me. What. Is it my dashing good looks? My charming wit? My absolutely awe-inspiring stories? Well...OK. Here's what's been going on with me:

Robb and Barb came for a WONDERFUL visit. We went camping for 4 days. Celebrated their daughter's (Meg) birthday. Drank lots of beer, and ate a lot of food that wasn't exactly P90X worthy. Robb and I did agree at one point during the camping trip, that before each beer, we had to do at least 10 pull ups. We used a tree branch..it was AWESOME! ...that is until DOCTOR Rob injured his thumb, and couldn't do the pull ups any longer... (sorry Rob. Had to say it!) :O) Click here to see the pics from the trip!

On another note...just 2 days before we left for that camping trip, I sold my 2001 Chevy Crew Cab, pickup truck. Yeah...so, we were leaving to go camping, and I had nothing to pull our camper!! It was a bit stressful, but never fear: My good friend Robb (who is also doing P90X with his wife now), found me a nice new (to me) ride! I'm now the proud owner of a 2000 Ford (yep, Ford!) Excursion. This thing has "GI-NORMOUS" tires, and with a 6" lift, looks like a TANK! I LOVE IT! Jeremy?? I think you'd be proud of me! As one of my buddies said, "Hey, every family needs a good urban assault vehicle"...love it.

OK...well I started typing this yesterday, and I'm typing more today...so, I'm gonna stop here. Still doing the "X" (although not quite as regularly), still eating good, still at 188 lbs....I'll try and post more soon! I actually have some more to say about the whole 'coaching' thing! ...stay tuned! :O)

P90X - Round 2, Day 40 - Legs/back and AbRipper X (ugh!)

Wow. I felt like I had never done this workout before, last night!! I've never really liked this workout, but I couldn't keep my balance, my knee hurt, my motivation sucked, and this morning??...yeah, SORE as HELL-O!!!! Now, on a good note, I'm sore in all the right places. I just have to whine a bit, 'cuz I really hate legs and back (...but I LOVE it!). Then..on the other side of the room, we find Alana bouncing and squatting like no body's business! She's ALWAYS been able to kick my butt at leg workouts!

So word has been getting around within my industry (work) here in the Denver metro area. Apparently, sales reps (among the different Durable Medical Equipment companies) talk! I had met with a sales rep about a month ago, and she was asking how I had made such a drastic change in my body. So we ended up talking P90X. Then yesterday, another sales rep from a different company, came in just to talk about P90X. He had already completed the program and was wondering, now what??? So, we talked a bit about the P90X+ program. One of the things he mentioned about P90X: he has always been a 'runner', but had never been able to attain the body he wanted. Even as 'active' as he was. He said that P90X was "just what he needed" to get him going in the right direction. He also mentioned that he has NEVER been in as good of shape, as he was when he finished the program....hmmm....sounds familiar!

P90X is NOT a gimmick. P90X works! If you're interested in learning more, click here! :O)

P90X - Round 2, Day 39 - Cardio X

I still can't believe how SORE I am after hitting chest/shoulders/triceps from the other night! WOW! It seems like all the moves in this cardio workout were just stretching me out. Growing the muscles. Felt GREAT! Alana was back working out with me last night, which DEFINITELY helps on the motivation/competition front! You know..."up's" the intensity BIG TIME!

Not to sound conceited or anything, but it is SOOOOO weird to be in this healthy lifestyle. For years I've eaten whatever I wanted, been pretty much IN-active (or when I tried physical activity, I would suck more air than a fish out of water!), and lifted weights, thinking I was healthy and exercising. WRONG. The P90X program has shown me what a true healthy lifestyle is. During this past long holiday weekend, I ate what I wanted (and drank what I wanted too!), did a little bit of activity, yet when I look in the mirror, none of it shows! AND I still feel great! I STRONGLY encourage everyone who hasn't given P90X a try, to do it! It WILL change your life!! :O)

P90X - Round 2, Day 34, 35, 36, 37, and 38- Camping...and Chest/Shoulders/Tris

So....Memorial Day weekend. Opening day for camping season! We headed out to Heaton Bay, which is located about an hour from where I live, in Frisco, CO. It's a great campground just on the bank of Lake Dillon Reservoir. The weather wasn't the greatest, as it would rain for 10 minutes. Stop for 20 minutes. Rain for 20 minutes. Stop for 10 minutes...this went on ALL weekend. We did see the sun for a grand total of about 22 minutes. I think we even shot a few pictures while the sun was out! We had fun fishing (didn't catch anything...but is that really what fishing is about anyway??). I came up with the bright idea to send all of the kids on a scavenger hunt. So we made a list of 14 items for the kids to go in search of. The idea was to have a little adult (i.e. quiet) time. Who knew a lady bug would be so easy to find!? And a coin?? We've got such resourceful kids! Here's a few of the pics....don't mind the "date stamp". Forgot to reset the camera after draining the battery...oops!

NOW...We're back in town. At home. No excuses. Ready to BRING IT! Tonight: Chest/Shoulders/Triceps and AbRipper X. Technically, we're in Phase 2, week 6, so I should have one of these workouts under my belt already. However, I don't think I've actually done this workout in a while! I LOVE it!! I was feeling soooo pumped after this workout I was gonna post some pictures. But then I saw Jeremy's 'back' picture. WOW dude. What results....Not to be outdone (and even more so, that no one is awake to take any pics right now), I shot some video of the plyo-push ups being done. This was taken sometime during round one of the "X". I didn't quite hit 14 of those puppies tonight, but I'll be there again soon!

P90X - Round 2, Day 33 - Movie night!

OK. So I'm not gonna beat myself up any more over missing a workout here and there. In fact, I'm not sure why I put "Day xx" above...Don't worry. My motivation hasn't left me. I've just realized (call me slow) that this P90X thing has become a part of me. It's not something you do for 90 days and then say, "OK. I'm done. Now what?"...Although I missed last night, and went to a movie, I looked back at everything I did yesterday. I didn't sit around and do nothing. I was active. I was moving. Going through the first 90 days was just kind of a "wake up" call for me. As Demi Bean and Christina Branson say in their posts, we are now athletes. If you want to learn how to get started transforming your life and lifestyle, contact me.

Now for my movie review: Terminator Salvation. Ehh. It was pretty good. Not the FANTASTIC summer blockbuster I was hoping for, but pretty good. Just hearing the Terminator music alone was well worth the ticket price for me! I'm weird that way. I won't give anything away, but I will tell you Jeremy: wait for the DVD. It'll sound GREAT on your surround sound! I guess the whole movie experience was kinda ruined for me after the movie was over. I returned to my car, to find that it had been broken into, and my $500 Alpine stereo system had been ripped out of the car...along with a $300 Navigation system. Soooo, I spent an extra hour talking with our friendly neighborhood law enforcement officer...Was the movie worth $800??? No.

Off today for a weekend of camping! Have a great holiday weekend everyone!!!

P90X - Round 2, Day 32 - Plyometrics

Well I didn't think I'd get through this one alone. Alana bailed again and opted for sleep. She's trying to fight off whatever cold I had!

I have to give my thanks to my buddy Vince, for motivating me tonight. He came by the house tonight for a bit, and we talked P90X. He wanted to see all of my progress photos that I took (i.e. 30/60/90 days). I showed him our workout area (i.e. the living room!). Showed him our equipment (a few dumbbells). And I showed him how easy it was to track his food intake. He was jazzed. I was jazzed. It seems like a lifetime ago, I was an out of shape, 210 lbs, lazy, unmotivated, beer drinking, Doritos eating guy. WOW...what a difference 90 days can make. He's now on day 3 and feeling better than he ever has! You can too! Check it out here.

So...anyway, I say "Thanks" to Vinnie for getting me through Plyo tonight! I hate it, but I love it!
